We borrow our name from Lindisfarne Abbey which is a medieval monastery located on Holy Island in Northumberland. The abbey itself is steeped in history, it is over 150 years old and became a base for Christian worship in the North of England.
Our class is made up of 30 Year 4 children and two adults ( Mr Gilbert and Mr Mountain). We like to make sure that our class is an enjoyable learning environment where both children and adults like to acquire new skills. The children are very independent and like to work hard. You will often find marbles or Class Dojo points being generously given out for effort, a great question or for simply being awesome.

Technology is used extensively throughout the school. It is important for children to be aware of the dangers posed by the Internet and mobile technologies. Wenhave collected some websites that have information to help children stay safe.
