Westminster is a class of little superstars taught by Mrs Knighton and Mrs Kemp.
The children in our class are offered a broad and balanced education which aims to meet and challenge every child's learning needs. Together our aim is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
Our classroom is a busy place with some challenge at times as most of us are getting ready to take our SATs tests in May. However, it’s not all work, work, work because there’s always room to squeeze fun and games along the way!
We will keep you updated with all of our learning on here and through Class Dojo throughout the year.
This term in Westminster class our topic is “Wonderful Weather”. We will be exploring weather in the UK and around the world, learning about the different climates such as polar and desert. We will make weather diaries and observe changes in our weather. We will be weaving our wonderful topic into all areas of the curriculum including in music where we will be learning weather songs and creating weather sounds using our voices and percussion instruments and art where we will be studying and creating artwork based on a nature theme.
Technology is used extensively throughout the school. It is important for children to be aware of the dangers posed by the Internet and mobile technologies. Wenhave collected some websites that have information to help children stay safe.
